1. Scope of the Cancellation Policy
This cancellation policy applies to all furniture and home items purchased through the MODERN AI LLC online store in the United States. It covers orders for chairs, beds, cabinets, and related accessories. This policy distinguishes between pre-shipment and post-shipment order cancellation rules to standardize the refund and return process.
2. Pre-Shipment Cancellation Rules
Customers can apply for order cancellation at any time after payment confirmation before the order is shipped. No cancellation reason is required. Once the pre-shipment cancellation request is confirmed and approved, we will process a full refund directly via the original payment method without requiring product return or any shipping fees.
3. Post-Shipment Cancellation Rules
If the order has been shipped out, direct cancellation and refund without return is not supported. Customers who still need to cancel the order must wait until the products are delivered. All cancellation applications must be submitted within 14 days after receiving the products without providing any reason.
4. Return Item Requirements
All items for post-shipment cancellation and return must be brand new and unused, free from damage, stains or wear. All products must be kept with intact original packaging, complete matching accessories and supporting manuals to pass our inspection. Incomplete or damaged items are not eligible for cancellation and refund.
